A Magician's Tale 01

Gosh, that is pretty fantastic, I'm definitely quite impressed. Very atmospheric, and very original; draws you in and makes you question what kind of story is about to unfold. Definitely something that makes you want to read on, with its snarky tone and dark, bad-ass mood, and its ominous punchline.

The art is most excellent, too. Great line work, great tone-work, great contrast and sense of page geometry. Of course it is still somewhat rough, but that does not really subtract much.

The only thing that is not exactly perfect is the title lettering; the squiggly and bright combination of that frame made me squint a little in displeasure. But that may just be my contact lenses disliking the light.

Anyway, great job, I'm looking forward to more of this.
