FP Ingrid Bergman by JonathanWyke FP Ingrid Bergman by JonathanWyke
It's Friday, so that means it's Friday portrait time...

Ingrid Bergman. I wish I were good enough to do her justice.

Lack of time means lack of painting, so it's just the MangaStudio pencils at the moment - I may try to paint her up later, but I don't think she looks too bad in just digital pencils.

She looks great in black and white. Classy.

I'm going to have to give manga studio another try given the finish you put to your work using it.

Cheers Matt!

I really do enjoy using MangaStudio. This one was just using the pencil tool - the 'thick pencil' gives a really lovely quick'n'nasty tone. I still don't really like inking with it - I prefer Illustrator or Photoshop - but I suspect that it's my refusing to try it much rather than the software's fault...

It does produce a rather lovely finish. Suits the subject very well in this case as well.
