Jaguar Page 08 by JonathanWyke Jaguar Page 08 by JonathanWyke

Page eight. My original plan for this page was a much bloodier affair. Indeed, I'd written, thumbnailed and sketched it out that way, but I found it just looked way too much like some sort of violent horror-porn. Luckilly I know Dale Mettam, who is, like, a proper writer and everything, and something he and I had worked on together offered a way out.

So here's page eight, and we see the aftermath of the horror, rather than the horror itself, which to my mind works a lot better.

Thanks Dale!

Jaguar is published here jaguar.thecomicseries.com/comi… . Once the first 'chapter' is finished it'll only be posted there I think.

All MangaStudio. I'm really trying to 'paint' these in MS rather than conventially pencil them.

Jaguar is 2014 Jonathan Wyke

Did you ever think about working on covers?

I'm not sure my style is at all suited to covers - I think I'm too static

I kindly disagree. Probably it doesn't suit action/dynamic story covers, but it could be perfect for spy/crime ones...Tim Bradstreet art for the HB or punisher covers is not dynamic too
